Hi! welcome to my blog. My name is Rosana Gonzalez Anaya. I am a dance teacher, formal principal, and children safety advocate. My qualifications include Ph.D. student in Education self-design focused on Learning, Instruction and Innovation from Walden University. I have 2 master’s degrees from Universidad del Turabo, Gurabo, Puerto Rico, M.A. Curriculum and instruction, and M.Ed. Educational Leadership.  I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies from University of South Florida. During  my tenure, I have helped many students become better citizens of our society leading academic gains for academic achievements and behaviors, parent involvement and supported teachers’ expectations. As a dance teacher, I worked in a Performing Art School for 10 years, had a dance school name Classical and Contemporary Dance School in Puerto Rico and created a small dace company name contempodanza. Through my journey, I led diverse activities which challenge students to increase test results in standardized exams. Furthermore, I am part of the mentor’s program from the NDEO National dance Education organization, which received positive feedback from my mentees for support within their teaching careers. I am a member of the International Dance Council (CID). At this moment, I am constructing a Blog post to write articles about student engagement within the twenty-first-century education.
